It is hard to believe that my time here in Ohio is almost finished. It feels like I just arrived, and yet three months are almost gone. It will definitely be bittersweet the day I leave.
A week ago I held a Christmas party at my apartment. There were seven of us altogether and we had a lot of fun. Most of the girls did not stay real long, but there was one girl, Edna, who stayed to help put up Christmas decorations.
I enjoyed spending time with Edna and getting to know her a little better. She does not live in the apartments, but she does work at the store, so I have had some interaction with her here and there.
Continue to pray for these girls. Some have left because of various reasons, but there are still girls here that are trying to get the help that they need, both physically and spiritually. I know God has a plan for each one and I am privileged that He has chosen me to be a part of that plan even if it is only for a short time.
